Scope of this policy
BetterWork Partners is an AI implementation and operations consulting firm. This policy explains what personal information we collect through betterworkpartners.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
It covers this website only. If we work together on an engagement, the agreement for that engagement and any related data terms apply to client information.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need in order to reply to you and to keep the site running.
- Information you give us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, work email address, company name if you add one, and the message you write.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical details such as IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand overall traffic.
- Cookies and local storage. This site uses only what is needed for it to function and stay secure. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
- We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or sensitive categories of personal information on this website, and we ask that you leave them out of your message.
How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry and arrange a conversation if it makes sense for both sides.
- To keep a record of business correspondence and to follow up on conversations in progress.
- To protect the site against spam, abuse, and security threats.
- To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
- To improve the site, based on aggregate information about how it is used.
Why we are allowed to use it
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases: our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and in securing the site, your consent where we ask for it, the performance of a contract if we enter into one, and compliance with legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- Service providers. We use a small number of vendors to run this website, including website hosting, cloud storage for inquiries, and email delivery. They may process your information only on our instructions and only for those purposes.
- Professional advisers. Accountants, lawyers, or insurers, where needed for our business.
- Legal requirements. Where we are required to disclose information by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- Business changes. If our business is sold or merged, inquiry records may transfer as part of that transaction, and they stay subject to this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to handle your message, maintain reasonable business records, and meet legal obligations. After that we delete them. If you ask us to delete your inquiry, we will, unless we are required to keep it.
How we protect information
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the information we hold, including encryption in transit, access limited to people who need it, and providers that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a portable copy, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent you have given. To make a request, use the contact form and tell us what you would like to do. We may ask for information to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by law.
- California residents. Under the CCPA and the CPRA you have the right to know what we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a limit under California law.
- Authorized agents. You may use an agent to make a request on your behalf if they can show they are authorized to act for you.
- Appeals. If we decline a request, you can reply to us and we will review the decision.
International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States and in the locations where our service providers operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for those transfers.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other sites and Do Not Track
Our site may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, in part because there is no common industry standard for handling them. We do not track visitors across other websites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we do, we revise the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we make it clear on this page so it is easy to notice.
